PLANS have been submitted to build a two-storey block of eight flats on unused land in Christchurch.

The site at Grange Road sits between large residential and industrial areas.

A design and access statement submitted on behalf of the applicants, Hill Valley Estates Ltd, says: "The proposal allows for an attractive comprehensive development which enhances the housing stock with eight residential dwellings whilst avoiding any detrimental impacts on the existing or neighbouring properties in Grange Road or Gibson Close."

The proposals, which have been submitted to Christchurch Borough Council, outline that the dwellings would all be two bedroom flats.
