POLICE executed a planned drugs warrant in Springbourne this morning.

More than 10 officers were seen at a property near the petrol station in Holdenhurst Road during the morning.

A police dog was also seen at the address.

Four police cars and a van were parked in roads around the property and two ambulance service vehicles were also in attendance.

No one has yet been arrested.

A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "At around 7.45am today, officers executed a drugs warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address in Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth. 

"A small quantity of class A drugs were seized as well as an air rifle. 

"The warrant was executed as a result of community-provided intelligence. 

"While no arrests were made during the operation, Dorset Police regularly executes warrants in order to deter and disrupt drug misuse and drug dealing.

"Dorset Police will always act on information about drug misuse and dealing and we would encourage anyone with information about such activity in their area to contact us.
