THERE is a vehicle parked near me that has no current road tax and no MOT.
I have reported the out of date road tax several times online and the vehicle is still there.
Today I decided to report the lack of MOT on that same vehicle. To do that I had to phone the police to report it.
The police response was that they were not interested unless it was being driven. They were not interested. If a police car came up behind you and checked on your vehicle you might get caught. You would stand more chance of getting caught doing over 30 mph than getting caught with no MOT. Perhaps the Police and Crime Commissioner could tell us, via these columns, which crimes they are, and are not, interested in. It might save us and them a lot of phone calls.
