VOLUNTEERS are being sought for this year’s Purbeck Film Festival.
The festival, which attracts around 5,000 visitors each year, sees more than 70 film screenings take place across more than 30 local venues.
This year the festival will be celebrating its 22nd year and takes place between October 12 and 27.
The event also includes open air film screenings at Corfe Castle which run during the August bank holiday and attract 500 people, as well as the Stars Under the Stars event at Studland Beach.
A spokesperson said: “We need volunteers across all areas, from flyer and poster distribution, runners and box office, social media and marketing, technical support and projectionists, help with workshops, website support, financial and administrative help, voice overs and photography.”
Anyone interested in helping out is invited to attend a volunteer recruitment event at the Rex Cinema in Wareham at 10.30am this Saturday.
