FIREFIGHTERS were called to the Occupy Homeless Sanctuary in Boscombe this morning to tackle unattended bonfires.
It is the third time fire crews have been called to the Ashley Road site in little over a week.
Shortly before 11am, a crew from Redhill Fire Station arrived at the scene following concern from a caller over unattended bonfires.
The fires were under control in less than 10 minutes.
It follows the first fire at the site, which took place early in the morning on Saturday, February 10. A kitchen area and store room burned to the ground.
Last Wednesday, one of the camp’s tents was destroyed in a fire.
Bailiffs have yet to evict Occupy campaigners still remaining at the site, despite an injunction being granted to the site owners to repossess the land earlier this month.
