A man has been charged after an alleged stabbing in Weymouth.
It was reported that a man aged in his 20s was stabbed on Hereford Road at around 10.35pm on Monday, February 5 2018.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Yesterday, Wednesday 14 February 2018, a 24-year-old Weymouth man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He has been charged with wounding with intent and is due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Friday, February 16 2018.
A 23-year-old man from Weymouth was previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has been released under investigation.
It is believed the men were known to each other.
An investigation remains ongoing and detectives are still appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
