A DRINK driver who was spotted by police overtaking another vehicle at speed late at night in Bournemouth town centre has been banned for three years.
Jerome O’Kelly appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. (Feb 8)
O’Kelly, of Churchill Road, Bournemouth, was seen driving along Old Christchurch Road on October 2, last year.
When police pulled over O’Kelly, who was behind the wheel of a BMW car, he failed a roadside breath test and was arrested.
Later, at the police station, the 41-year-old blew 70mg/100 millilitres, twice the legal limit.
He was also fined £200 and ordered to pay £30 costs.
