CHRISTCHURCH’S popular charity pancake race returns next month.
The races take place on the bowling green opposite The Kings Arms Hotel from 10am on Tuesday, February 13.
There will be races for children aged between five and eight years-old with another race for youngsters aged between nine and 12-years-old.
There’s no need to pre-register for the children’s races, little ones can just turn up on the day.
Adults can also take part with businesses urged to sign up for the event. Entry costs £25 for a team of four and there’s a maximum of two teams per business.
The Pavilion will be turned into a pop-up café serving a selection of pancakes, waffles, bacon baps and coffee.
The event is part of the annual Christchurch Food Festival and money raised will go towards the festival’s own charity, the Education Trust, which helps educate, advise and train on healthy eating especially to schools
