THE head teacher of Cranborne Middle School has emailed parents following an incident of 'suspicious behaviour' near an Alderholt bus stop during the school run.
Craig Watson wrote to warn parents and carers after two men reportedly drove around the area in a white van, watching and gesturing to children waiting for the school bus.
Mr Watson said: "The incident has been reported to police and a Schoolwatch alert has been set up to all the schools in the area."
Meanwhile, Dorset Police confirmed the incident took place around 9.20am on Wednesday at Alderholt.
A police spokesman said: "The driver got out of the vehicle briefly but did not approach any children.
"He has returned to his van and driven off. The driver of the van is described as a white man, in his early 30s, with short hair, stubble and was wearing a tracksuit."
