BURGLARS in a red car rammed a garage to get to power tools during a raid on Wednesday.
The incident, which happened in Cowgrove, Wimborne at around 10.45am, was the second burglary reported to the Wimborne Neighbourhood Policing Team that day.
During the raid, a dark red saloon-type car was rammed into the garage doors, and tools including chainsaws, stone cutters and hedge trimmers stolen from within.
The car, which was driven by a man and had two male passengers in it, then travelled off at speed towards Sturminster Marshall.
Officers say the vehicle is likely to have damage to the back.
Another burglary to a garage in Albert Road, Corfe Mullen, is believed to have taken place on Tuesday night.
