TWO men have been charged in connection with an alleged burglary which reportedly left a man with a head injury.
At around 3.55am on October 9 last year, Dorset Police received a report that two offenders had entered a flat in Meyrick Park Crescent through an unlocked door.
A man aged in his 30s was struck on the head "with a wooden item", police said, and the attackers allegedly stole £1,000 in cash.
The victim suffered a head injury, not believed to be serious, and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Karl Clive Alexander, 33, of Markham Avenue, Bournemouth, and David Leslie Farrow, 31, of Sandy Plot, Burton, Christchurch, have been charged with aggravated burglary and appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
Both were remanded in custody to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday, February 15.
