WATCHES and jewellery including a white gold and 1.5ct diamond necklace worth £8,400 were stolen by burglars in the New Forest.

Thieves smashed their way through a double-glazed door at a house in Becton Lane, near its junction with Barton Common Road, sometime between 5.45pm and 9.45pm on Friday, January 12.

Two TAG Heuer watches were among the items stolen.

One watch has been described as a Monaco with a square face and black leather strap worth £1,350, while the other was a 4000 series with round face/bezel and silver metal strap worth £800.

A Juicy Couture 'dog in kennel' charm, featuring a distinctive small black dog coming out of a pink/gold kennel worth £40 was also stolen along with an £800 Apple MacBook Pro laptop.
