WORKS: Holes Bay Road in Poole
MAJOR works to improve a junction on a main Poole road started yesterday.
There was heavy traffic on Holes Bay Road after Borough of Poole engineers closed off the outside lane at the junction with Sterte Avenue West.
The speed limit has been reduced to 30mph between the junction and the railway bridge for the duration of the works, which are expected to take 12 weeks.
Meanwhile, part of Blandford Road in Hamworthy was closed yesterday for the second phase of carriageway resurfacing works between the borough boundary, north of Sandy Lane, and Inglesham Way. until January 13.
