Police called to reports of man with samurai sword in Poole
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of affray after police were called to an address in Poole.
Dorset Police received a report of a man with a samurai sword at an address in Benbow Crescent on Thursday.
A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray and is helping officers with their enquiries.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Police were called at 9.15am on Thursday December 14 to a report of a man with a samurai sword at an address in Benbow Crescent in Poole.
"He was not reported to have threatened anyone and no one was injured.
"Officers attended and a 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray and is helping officers with their enquiries."
