BOURNEMOUTH’S branch of NatWest has been closed after masonry fell from the building.
A spokesperson for RBS said contractors had visited the branch on Tuesday and the bank was awaiting a report and assessment of the issue.
"Masonry fell from the building yesterday. Due to health and safety, a decision was taken to close the branch. The branch will remain closed while an assessment takes place."
A sign outside the bank reads: “We apologise for this inconvenience, we are unable at present to confirm when the branch will reopen."
It continues: “The nearest alternative locations to do your banking are RBS Bournemouth (opposite Beales), NatWest Castlepoint and NatWest Upper Parkstone.”
