SOME 200 runners turned out in the chilly seafront air for a fundraising 'Reindeer Run' on Saturday.
Donning antlers and flashing red noses, the intrepid group ran or walked a 5k route along the Bournemouth promenade from Boscombe Pier, setting off at 5pm.
The event, sponsored by Christchurch-based solicitors Williams Thompsons, raises cash for the Bournemouth Hospital Charity.
Karen Smith, one of the fundraisers, said: "We find with our charity that people who take part in our events are not always doing so because they are keen on running, they may be grateful patients or family members looking to give something back.
"It is a fun run, and the money raised will be used by the charity to fund things which are beyond what the NHS will cover."
It was the second time the event has been run with a similar turn out, around 150-200 dedicated runners.
There was also festive music and a lively warm-up exercise session.
