THE latest Echo Camera Club Dorset competition had group members tapping their toes as they were challenged to illustrate a song title.

The work of Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, ELO and other acts were paid tribute to as photographers strived to show off their best images.

The theme, chosen by group sponsors Castle Cameras, proved to be a popular one with more than 100 entries competing for the £50 prize voucher.

Pictures were judged both on the composition of the image and the associated song title.

Daily Echo editor, Andy Martin, said: “The standard of photography within Echo Camera Club Dorset is incredible.

“Each month the competitions get harder to judge and this has been no exception. It’s a joy to be able to share the group’s talent and enthusiasm with our readers.”
