1. Frankie Valli, who came to fame in 1962 as the lead singer of The Four Seasons, with songs like Walk Like A Man, Sherry, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Rag Doll, Big Girls Don’t Cryis hotter than ever in the 21st century and will be at the BIC tonight.

2. Acclaimed cathedral choir Wessex Consort are to include an original musical setting of ‘The Oxen’ in two very special festive concert performances on Thursday 7 December entitled A Real Dorset Christmas at Lighthouse, Poole and St Mary’s Church, West Moors.

7.- The second annual Reindeer Run at Boscombe Pier. The 5k event, hosted in aid of the Bournemouth Hospital Charity, takes place at 5pm.All participants will wear reindeer antlers and red flashing noses during the race and fancy dress is encouraged.

8. 10am - 3pm Priest's House Museum, Wimborne. There's a big community fundraising day at the museum today. Visitors will be invited in to stir a Christmas pudding and make a wish.

They will also be asked to consider sponsoring some 50 items chosen by curators. A mummified cat and a souvenir mug printed for the coronation of King Edward VIII (which never took place) will be among those available to sponsor. 10. Wareham Town Centre Wareham Christmas Parade. Entertainments start at 4pm, with the parade starting 4.45pm. Santa will go down the chimney of The Red Lion Pub (at main town centre crossroads)
