There's something for everyone this weekend whether you wish to get creative, listen to music or simply taste some wine!

*WINE lovers and foodies - head to the Furleigh estate at Salway Ash near Bridport tomorrow or Saturday for free and informal food and wine matching workshops.

Every Friday and Saturday throughout December the estate is running the workshops at 11am and 2.30pm. There'll be plenty of inspiration and ideas for your festive menus. No booking required, just pop in and join in the fun.

*GET jammin' to the music of Bob Marley tonight (1) at 8pm at the Ocean Room in Weymouth Pavilion.

Bob Marley - Legend is a journey through the singer's career, from his ska roots with The Wailers with hits such as Stir It Up and Get Up, Stand Up. To his iconic hits of the 70s & 80s that are still sung and used today within the charts such as Could You Be Loved, No Woman No Cry, One Love, Is This Love, Jamming, Buffalo Soldier and many more reggae classics. Lee Memphis King, said to be Europe's most successful Elvis Presley tribute artist, recreates the essence of the King; The '68 Comeback Special and The Vegas years with consummate ease. It starts at 7.30pm. Call the box office for tickets.

*DON'T forget it's Small Business Saturday across the UK tomorrow and you can park for free at any of the Weymouth and Portland car parks and begin - or perhaps even complete your Christmas shopping! Weymouth's ice rink will also be open.

*FEEL the chill with Christmas ghost stories at teh Colliton Club in Dorchester tomorrow.

A Candlelight Ghost Story for Christmas will consist of two classic ghost stories by M.R. James performed by Robert Lloyd Parry.

*SUPPORT the Cheeki Monkey Christmas Market at Wey Valley School in Weymouth tomorrow (2).

It will be held between 10am and 12.30pm. Come along for loads of Christmas gifts, fantastic bargains, plus delicious cakes and treats! There will also be a raffle to support Julia's House children's hospice. Admission is £1 for adults and free for children.

*HOW about having a go at making a Christmas lantern on Sunday?

A workshop will be held at the Town Hall above the Corn Exchange in Dorchester from 10am to 12pm. Come and make your own lantern to carry at this year's Christmas Cracker in Dorchester. *A NEW one woman play with music comes to the Corn Exchange in Dorchester on Sunday.
