THE big red Coca-Cola truck makes its return to Bournemouth tomorrow.

This year the iconic truck will be visiting town for two days when it stops by the Triangle on Thursday and Friday.

People will be able to have their pictures taken with the truck between 11am and 7pm.

The lorry stars in the fizzy drinks giant’s popular festive advert featuring the Holidays are Coming slogan, which first aired in 1995.

Last year hundreds of people turned out to see the vehicle at Pier Approach.

It is the seventh year the truck has embarked on its tour of the UK and it has clocked up over 730,000 miles - the equivalent of travelling 29 times around the world.

It started its 42-stop tour in Glasgow on November 11 and will make its final stop in Lakeside on December 17.

Aedamar Howlett, marketing director for Coca-Cola Great Britain said: “Coca-Cola is synonymous with the Christmas season and it’s no secret that our much-loved Christmas Truck Tour marks the unofficial countdown to Christmas.
