THERE was little movement in the ADC Singles League this week after there were seven draws in total.

Paul Dormer was involved in two of the seven draws drawing with Mark Samways and Dave Butler respectfully.

Dormer hit a 14 and 17-dart leg in his draw with Samways before hitting a 15-dart leg in his draw with Butler.

Finishing the night with a 4-2 win over Matty Paice, Dormer picked up four points in total after beating Mel Gregg 4-0.

After losing his first match to leader Andrew McDermott 4-2, Samways was involved in a little bit of controversy in his final match of the evening with Chris Stones.

Leading 3-1 and throwing comfortably, Stones needed a toilet break this possibly upsetting the rhythm of Samways for Stones to come back and take the next two legs.

Continuing his winning streak, McDermott avoided a string of missed doubles from Wayne Jordan to take the match 4-1.

Fixtures on the night would be harsh on Jordan who was up against Mel Burton in his first match.

Likewise in his match with McDermott, Jordan was there with Burton but couldn't find the all important double.

Mel Burton inflicted the first of two defeats for Matty Paice on the evening, winning 4-0 in their final match.

Siblings of both Burton and Paice would lock horns on the other board with the dreaded two-nil advantage for Paul Paice striking again.

Chris Burton battled away to get back to two each only for Paice to go 3-2 ahead and Burton to take the next leg for the draw.

There was mixed fortunes for both players in their final matches with Burton going down 4-0 to Simon Churchill, who hit a 14-dart leg along the way, and Paul Paice scrapping to a 4-2 win over Dave Butler.

Churchill once again showed his class in his first match beating Scott Gannon 4-1 and overtaking Andy Masters to third spot in the league.

Running low on confidence when it comes to match situations, Gannon took on second-placed Danny Aplin in their final match of the night.

The 4-0 scoreline in Aplin's favour flattered him a bit as Gannon could not compose himself at the right time to hit his doubles.

Aplin earned his second draw of the season in his first match of the night against Simon Sharpe.

Highlight of this match came when Aplin was left on a finish to go 3-1 up and Sharpe took out 77 on the bull to draw level.

Both players then held their throw to draw the match 3-3.

Sharpe could not quite find that same killing instinct in his first match against Arnie Quinn. Both players were matching each other and level at 2-2 when Quin broke Sharpe's throw and went on to hold his own to triumph 4-2.

Quinn had a good night, winning his final match against Trevor Honnor by winning 4-0.

Honnor finding it hard of late to find his smooth throwing form was lucky to escape with a 3-3 draw with Gannon who once again could not find the composure to hit that winning double.

Picking up a draw in his final match, Stones won both his first two matches with the first game being an impressive 4-2 success over Andy Masters.

Unfortunatly for young Adam Mckay he would play Masters and Stones later on in his two matches, losing both games 4-0 (Stones) and 4-1 (Masters).

Nigeria Davis and Matty Paice shared the spoils in their match, both players hit big scores in the legs they won but could not find anything when put under pressure from the other player and the final outcome 3-3.

One of the biggest cheers of the night came when Gregg, who scored brilliantly well in her 4-2 defeat to Nigeria Davis, managed to hit her first 180 of the season.
