POLICE have released CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to after more than £5,000 was fraudulently stolen at a Bournemouth hotel.

At around 11pm on Sunday, November 5, a member of staff working at the Sky Bar at the Hilton Hotel in Terrace Road printed out an end of the day report that showed a refund of £5,250 had been issued onto a Mastercard using a card payment machine.

The machine was located beside the till in the bar.

Enquiries were made with other staff, who did not know anything about such a refund so a review of CCTV was carried out.

The CCTV showed a man and a woman standing by the entrance to the Sky Bar at around 8pm before going toward the bar and picking something up.

They then went into a lift for some time before returning to the bar.

Police Constable Sara Knape, of Bournemouth police, said: “I would urge anyone who recognises them or who has any other information to contact police.”

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55170174167.
