A MAN arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a store in Bournemouth has been released without charge.
At 10.52pm on Monday, June 5, 2017, officers were called to reports that a man armed with a handgun had entered One Stop on Seabourne Road.
The man approached the till, asked for money and stole a till tray containing a quantity of cash.
No one was physically injured.
A 54-year-old man from Bournemouth was arrested in connection with this incident and released under investigation.
Following a detailed police investigation, it has been decided that no further police action will be taken against him.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Dorset Police will always investigate any new information relating to this case.”
