A MAN arrested in connection with a robbery at an elderly woman’s home in Christchurch has been released without charge.
It was reported that a woman aged in her 80s was tied up while her home in Oak Avenue was ransacked on the morning of Wednesday, February 1.
Cash and jewellery were taken from the address.
The woman was able to free herself and contact police.
She suffered bruising during the ordeal.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said a 38-year-old man from Christchurch who was arrested in connection with the incident has now been released without charge.
