Bonfire night is here and there are lots of organised displays happening all over Dorset and the New Forest.

A free firework extravaganza will light up the skies over Poole Quay on November 5. There will be live music, street entertainment and family activities from 4:30pm before the display at 8pm.

Ringwood's first ever musical fireworks display will take place at Carvers Recreation Ground on Sunday November 5 from 5pm and includes a traditional bonfire, bar area and hog roast. Tickets will be available in advance of the event at a cost of £1, with pre-school children admitted for free. The fireworks are scheduled to begin shortly after 7pm.

Weymouth Guy Fawkes Celebrations take place on November 5 with a wealth of events taking place, including fireworks, a Guy Fawkes competition, fun fair and beach bonfire. The Fairground on the Weymouth Pavilion forecourt opens at 3pm, with judging of the children's homemade Guy Fawkes competition in Weymouth Pavilion foyer at 6.45pm, the beach bonfire lit at 7.40pm and fireworks at 8pm. Dorchester Rugby Football Club's spectacular fireworks night will take place again on November 5, with a fireworks display, hog roast, BBQ, bar and amusements. Gates open at 6pm, fireworks at 8pm. Tickets are £10 for a family, £4 adults, £2 children.
