A WIMBORNE post office will be closed for a month for a refurbishment.
Colehill Post Office, based inside the Co-op, will be closed from October 24 until November 24.
The extensive refurbishments to the retail side of the premises at Smugglers Lane will mean customers will have to use alternative branches at Furzehill Post Office in Smugglers Lane and Wimborne Post Office in the High Street.
The main Wimborne Post Office in the town centre is not affected by the temporary closure.
Mike Ball, Post Office network operations manager, said: “The safety of our customers is of paramount importance to us.
"Therefore, to allow for the refurbishment to take place it will be necessary for the service to close, temporarily.
"We are sorry for any inconvenience caused to our customers during this period.
"However, the planned improvements to the store will, in time, compensate for any disruption caused in the short term."
