POLICE have asked Corfe Mullen parents if they know where their children are in the evening after a spate of criminal damage was reported by residents.
PCSO Neal Rooke called on mums, dads and carers to keep track of children after incidents were reported in four roads.
He said: "We have had a number of windows broken on cars and properties in the areas of Victoria Close, Albert Road, Highmoor Road and Rushcombe Way over the past week.
"We suspect these windows are being broken by stones being fired from a catapult or something similar.
"We will be increasing patrols in and around these areas."
Appealing directly to parents, PCSO Rooke said: "Please can I ask for your help - you should know where your children are at all times for their safety primarily, but also to ensure they don't get tangled up in trouble unnecessarily."
