Coach Henry Benson hailed the ‘massive achievement’ of Ellingham & Ringwood women in thrashing North Petherton 60-0.
The newly-promoted Es went top of National Challenge South West One thanks to the straightforward away win.
Kiera Paul-Jones crossed five times and the other try scorers were Nina Hoadley, Charlotte Smith, Chantelle McClure, Paige Darvill-White and Chloe Barrett, who added five successful conversions.
Benson said: “This was the most complete performance from the side since I became coach.
“To beat a good side like North Petherton by the score we did was a massive achievement.
“The players have a good understanding of each other and the structure we’ve put in place, which is giving us the rewards we deserve.”
