RETURNING frontman Callum Wilson admitted he was relishing the opportunity to boost Cherries’ goal tally.
The Dorset club have struck just four times in seven Premier League contests so far this season, drawing blanks on four separate occasions in the top flight.
And Wilson (pictured), who made his return from a serious knee injury in a Premier League Cup clash against Norwich City this week, is bidding to help aid his side’s firepower.
He said: “I am not the best spectator, to be honest.
“Even when you are on the bench, you want to be playing – that’s just the nature of most footballers and why a lot of them are successful.
“You have to have that selfish streak about you.
"For me, sitting in the stand when there are chances being missed, I am almost heading them and kicking them in for my team-mates.
“I have faith that we will turn it around and we will do it together as a team, because we win or lose together.
“It’s just about being confident, staying relaxed, and we still have plenty of points to play for.”
