A BOURNEMOUTH property sales and letting company has won praise for its “fantastic” support for a youth soccer club.

Roberts Residential Limited has agreed to sponsor Muscliff Dynamos Youth Football Club for the seventh year in a row.

Muscliff Dynamos has two teams, Under 15s and Under 13s. The Under 15s finished third in the Bournemouth Youth League last year.

The club was founded by Tom Morris, manager of the Under 15s, and his daughter, Gayna. Kevan Smith is manager of the Under 13s, supported by his partner Lisa Greenwell.

Tom said the support of Roberts was “absolutely essential.”

He added: “We are totally dependent on sponsorship. Without it most of the teams in the league, including ourselves, would just not exist.

“We can’t thank Roberts enough for their support which goes back several years. They have been fantastic.”

Charminster-based Roberts was founded in 1974 and employs 20 staff.

Directors Nigel Goddard and Paul Penny have between them more than 40 years of estate agency experience.

Nigel and Paul’s co-director, Andrew Dawson, was formerly managing director of AFC Bournemouth.

Mr Dawson said the firm believed in putting something back into the community.

“Having been involved in football before, and being parents ourselves, we know only too well the benefits of sport, particularly for young people," he said.

“Muscliff Dynamos is a great club run by a highly dedicated team of volunteers. We’re delighted to be associated with them and wish the club continued success on the pitch."
