The second annual Daily Echo Independent Schools Show takes place on Saturday.

Representatives from the best in private education across the area will all be under one roof to help parents make a decision about their children’s education.

So far 13 schools have signed up to the event and there is still time for others to get involved.

The schools confirmed so far are Clayesmore Preparatory, Clayesmore Senior, Durlston Court, Ryde School, Talbot Heath, Moyles Court, Talbot House, Buckholme Towers, Forres Sandle Manor, Bournemouth Collegiate School, Ballard, St Thomas Garnet's and Walhampton.

The event will take place in the magnificent setting of Upton House in Poole on Saturday October 7 between 10.30am and 3pm and entry is free.

The wide range of schools covers all age groups and a wide area including Dorset, the New Forest and the Isle of Wight.

It is a unique event that will give parents and guardians the opportunity to talk to those representing independent schools in the local area and to discuss the outstanding education they can provide.

The event is being sponsored by Smith Hobbs Wealth Management and Managing Director Matthew Smith said: "We appreciate the value of a good education and, therefore, are extremely proud to be supporting Daily Echo's Independent Schools Show with an exclusive sponsorship.

"On the day of the show we will be sharing our expertise in order to help parents consider attractive ways in which to plan for school fees in a tax efficient manner including making use of gifting strategies and considering the options available for investing and intergenerational planning.”

There will also be the chance to win one of two £100 clothing vouchers from your preferred supplier.

Anyone who wishes to get involved should call Angela Boyer, Key Account Manager at the Daily Echo, on 01202 411221 or email angela.boyer@bournemouthecho.co.uk
