WINGER Junior Stanislas said he had felt in good shape having made his Premier League return in the 2-1 loss at Everton.
The former Burnley man had been sidelined with a long-standing groin problem.
He played 63 minutes of Cherries' Carabao Cup win over Brighton on Tuesday before featuring for the full 90 minutes at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Asked about his return to action, Stanislas told the Daily Echo: “I feel good, I feel strong.
“I maybe started to tire a little bit towards the end against Everton but I would expect that.
“I got some good minutes under my belt and, hopefully, there is more to come.”
And while the 27-year-old was pleased from an individual point of view, he was left with a sense of disappointment following defeat to the Toffees.
“For me, it was enjoyable on a selfish point just to get out there and play again, but the most important thing was picking up points.
“We didn’t do that so we went away disappointed.
“We felt we played well in large parts and controlled the game. To come away with nothing was disappointing.
“But going forward, we can take a lot of positives from it.”
