BRADY Kurtz knows he will be up against it when he takes on Swindon's heat leaders tomorrow – but has vowed to give his all in the crunch play-off clash.

The Pirates spearhead has to contend with the considerable talent of Grand Prix star Jason Doyle among others at the Abbey Stadium.

Kurtz told the Daily Echo: "Swindon are such a tough team to be number one against.

"You line up against Doyley and, when you are not up against him, you are against Nick Morris.

"But that's what the job is and I will go there and try to get as many wins as I can.

"I quite enjoy Swindon, really. I've had bad meetings there in the past but I've also gone well there. It's a good race track so I'm looking forward to it."

Poole must win by at least three points to seal their play-off final spot.

Kurtz added: "There's no chance any of us will go to Swindon thinking we have already lost.

"We drew there at the start of the year and the only difference between that and an overall win is one heat win, so I think we can do it.

"If the day turns out right for us, there's no reason why we can't win."
