FIREFIGHTERS from four stations were sent to deal with a fire at an industrial unit on Hamworthy's Dawkins Road Industrial Estate.
Six vehicles from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were in attendance, including crews from Hamworthy, Poole, Redhill Park and Westbourne fire stations.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire had been reported in the extraction system of the building at 2.30pm.
Crews used breathing apparatus, one main line and two hose reel jets.
A thermal imaging camera was also used to make sure there were no fire spots in the system.
No workers were believed to be inside the building and the fire service confirmed no injuries were sustained.
The stop message came through around 5pm.
Dorset Police were also in attendance and assisted by putting in local road closures.
