Road blocked after car and bus crash
A ROAD in Bournemouth was blocked after a crash involving a car and a bus.
Police, ambulance and the fire service were called to Saxonhurst Road at the junction of Leybourne Avenue shortly after 5pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service said two crews assisted paramedics with an elderly woman in a car who had a “medical issue”.
“We made the vehicle safe,” the spokesperson said.
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said they were called at 5.07pm.
Four people required medical attention with two treated at the scene.
The other two people were taken to Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
