A MAN remains in a life-threatening condition in hospital following a crash in Christchurch last month.
The pedestrian, a Christchurch man in his 50s, suffered serious injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital after the collision on the afternoon of Thursday, August 17.
He had been crossing Barrack Road close to the police station when he was involved in a crash with a silver BMW 5 Series travelling from the Fountain roundabout toward Bournemouth.
The driver of the BMW was not injured.
The road was closed for more than four hours between the Stour Road traffic lights and the roundabout while collision investigators examined the scene.
Police have called for anyone with dash-cam footage to come forward.
