THERE’S just over two weeks to go until Bournemouth’s first ever Metropole Market.

Taking over Holdenhurst Road on Sunday, September 24, the market will see a mix of free family entertainment, live music performances, shopping, food stalls and more.

A specially created entertainment arena will be located outside Bomo featuring street performers Pantheatrix alongside comedy duo Street Comedy.

Outside the Anvil rock bar, there will be live performances from local artists including Si Genaro, best known for his appearance on BBC’s The Voice in 2014 and 2015

Xander Allen will be among the acts performing outside The Old Fire Station.

In the BU International Courtyard, there will be Latin music from Mambossa, acoustic flamenco artist Uri and Latin musician Roberto.

Outside Waverly House,  vintage style vocalist Miss Annie will be performing plus Real Vintage who perform music from World War One to the 1950s.

In addition, a dedicated Kids Zone will include ceramic art workshops, face painting, UK Children’s Entertainer of the Year Mr Merlin & Okey Dokey the Dragon, magician Jamie Jigsaw and Dr Balloonman.

There will be a live art mural from Ricky Also, jugglers, stilt walkers and WWII re-enactors, who will be camped out with several vintage military vehicles.
