A man who was arrested over a rape allegation in Blandford has been released under investigation.
At 5.14am on Sunday 27 August 2017, Dorset Police was informed of the incident, which happened near to Hawkers Close.
On Sunday evening, a 21-year-old man from Blandford was arrested on suspicion of rape and has now been released pending further inquiries.
The alleged victim is a 19-year-old from the town. It was reported that she had been followed home from Tiffany's nightclub at the Crown and Anchor in West Street.
