A LORRY driver was in a tight spot after the vehicle became stuck underneath a university building.
Students at Bournemouth University’s International College in Holdenhurst Road were surprised to see the truck wedged underneath a tunnel leading to the building’s inner courtyard this afternoon.
Ondrej Zak said it was the first time he had seen a vehicle stuck under the building.
“I was just walking home from the gym when I saw people gathered around the building. The truck was stuck up to the roof of the underpass.
“People were trying to work out how to get him out.”
Although he didn’t see the truck free itself, Ondrej said he later saw the vehicle driving along the road.
The Daily Echo has contacted Kaplan, which manages the building, for comment.
