PLANS have been submitted to revamp a popular Bournemouth nightspot.
Labanque Ltd, new proprietor of the Winchester pub at 39 Poole Hill, has submitted an application to extend the bar into rooms on the first floor that currently house offices.
In its application, the firm said: "This will enable the premises to reopen as La Banque, targeting the higher end of the market with the intention being that customers will dine
in the restaurant focused areas and then remain in the premises moving upstairs to the cocktail lounge.
"The Winchester is a listed building and has not benefitted from a keen level of investment over the years.
"The new proprietors seek to introduce a responsible business model focused primarily around high quality food."
According to the application the company has discussed its plans with police and council environmental health officers.
