SO there have been complaints about the sound level at the iSense screen at the Odeon cinema (Echo 19th August).
We’re told that the levels are ‘in line with cinema regulations’; but that doesn’t mean they are not too loud, hence the complaints.
Would it hurt to turn the volume down a couple of notches? Of course not. So why do the operatives set it so loud? Because they can.
Keep complaining and/or take your custom elsewhere! Eventually, when that company’s takings are affected enough, it will hopefully dawn on someone in management that they might just need to keep the customer satisfied.
It’s not unlike the ‘it’s company policy’ response to any other complaint. So, change the policy! It happens – one recent example of course being Poole Council’s U bend, sorry, U turn, over their public toilets.
