FIREFIGHTERS battled a blaze at an industrial unit near Wareham Railway Station.
The fire, which was first reported to the service at 7.16pm on Friday, was at a property in John's Road, and there were eight fire engines and support vehicles at the scene.
The smoke was drifting across the station, which was temporarily closed, along with nearby roads.

A spokesman from South West Trains said on Friday: "Wareham is closed due to a fire near the station.
"Trains will not be stopping in either direction, until further notice.
"The fire is being dealt with and the service is estimated to continue reasonably soon.
"So anyone travelling via the station is advised to keep checking for updates."
The station, as of 9.50pm, was reopened and trains were again stopping.
The unit is the home of Dorset Bikes and Purbeck Plumbing & Heating Supplies.
After the fire was extinguished, fire crews were damping down prior to conducting an investigation.
A spokesman for the service said the fire started in a workshop.
