A BUSY road was closed in both directions following a crash involving a motorbike and a car.
The B3073 Christchurch Road was closed at Parley Cross and Hurn Bridge following the collision.
Police were called at 4.45pm to reports of the collision this afternoon involving a red Honda motorbike, registered to a man from Christchurch, and a red Vauxhall Agila, registered to a man from Bournemouth.
Ambulance services attended the scene and treated one patient.
It is not known what injuries the person sustained.
The road was re-opened at around 5.45pm.
