THIS stunning image of the Milky Way and the Radar Memorial at St Aldhelm's Head by Steve Regan has been selected as the winner of the latest Echo Camera Club Dorset competition.
More than 130 entries were received in response to the July theme ‘Dorset Landmarks’.
The Camera Club now boasts in excess of 1,300 photographers.
Daily Echo head of digital imaging, Corin Messer, said: “The standard of work entered for this month’s competition has been simply staggering." “Selecting a shortlist of only ten images from the huge number of entries was extremely difficult and once again it has been a delight to see the talented photographers in the club highlighting the beauty of the area we live in."
Mr Regan’s photograph was selected as the winner by Daily Echo editor Andy Martin and he will receive a £50 voucher to spend with Echo Camera Club Dorset partner Castle Cameras.
