COMMUTERS faced delays this evening after a car spun full circle on the eastbound A31 carriageway.
A Nissan Micra spun and forced a lorry to brake heavily and pull onto the hard shoulder near Rufus Stone.
Police confirmed no vehicles collided in the incident and no injuries were sustained.
Hampshire Police were called to the scene and spoke with the lorry driver.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said they were made aware of the incident at 4.54pm this afternoon.
Ambulance services were called, but they were subsequently stood down.
Traffic was delayed as a result of the incident, with reports of around 20 minute delays at 5.30pm from Stoney Cross.
There were no lane closures on the A31 and congestion gradually eased on the road near the start of the M27.
