TRAVELLERS have moved into parts of Poole Park and Baiter Park.
A number of caravans have been spotted by residents on both sites.
At Baiter there are around seven caravans and other vehicles.
At Poole Park, around nine caravans have parked near to the War Memorial and tennis courts.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said they were called to the site at 9.30pm on Monday evening.
No crime was committed, the spokesperson added. The matter is now in the hands of the local authority.
Meanwhile in Boscombe, Bournemouth council has served court papers
on a group of travellers in the Hawkwood Road Car Park, with a hearing due to take place on Friday.
The council recently said its 2017/18 budget for park security is expected to be exceeded by £20,000 due to traveller incursions.
