THE people of Poole do not appreciate fully the expertise of Cllr John Rampton.
During the ongoing saga of the toilet closures we learnt how long it would take to walk from Baiter to the Quay if you had an empty bladder.
We were reassured that there was no risk of disease from people relieving themselves at Baiter even when the temperatures were high.
We learnt how much money would be saved by closing the toilets which is good news for those in the community that need to have access to toilets more frequently.
Just when you thought there could not be more gems, he now gives advice on how to use the wheelie bin correctly.
Without his guidance quoted in the Echo who would have ever thought of bagging the rubbish to keep the bin clean and the lid closed? My wife was amazed when I told her. Thanks, Cllr Rampton.
This man is clearly destined for higher office even on a national stage where his skills will be more widely appreciated. Poole will be fortunate to retain him.
