Motorists are being warned to travel with care due to flooding on the roads.

There is heavy traffic on the A35 near Lytchett Minster between the Baker's Arms Roundabout and Blandford Road North due to flooding on both sides of the road.

It is also affecting traffic on the A351 and the B3067 in the area.

There is also surface water flooding on the Upton Bypass and motorists are being warned to drive with care.

A Dorset County Council spokesman said: “We are responding to calls about flooding across our road network as a result of continuous heavy rain, including on the A35.

“We would advise motorists to drive with extra care, especially around surface water flooding.
