The first Summer Breeze event of the season takes place on Poole Quay tonight.
Organised by Poole Tourism and sponsored by motor dealership Breeze Volkswagen, the live music line-up includes Samba Panashe, Motown from Totog, guitarist and singer Dennis Melia plus Dorset’s finest Ska band Rat Race, supported by Mr Kyps.
Poole Quay will be shut from 6pm and a firework display is scheduled for 10pm.
The event will run every Thursday night until August 31, when Mungo Jerry will perform.
The free family event is part of Poole’s Wave 105 Summertime in the South and brings party action, bands and street entertainers to the quay before ending with a firework display each week.
