FULL-back Adam Smith signed a new four-year deal at Cherries before insisting: “There is nowhere else I want to be."
The 26-year-old will remain at Vitality Stadium until at least 2021.
Having spent the 2010-11 season on loan at the Dorset club from Tottenham, Smith joined on a permanent basis three years ago.
He has since gone on to make 113 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals.
Smith told the club website: “I’m delighted. I’m settled in the area and get on really well with the lads.
“There is nowhere else I want to be. Everything is going well for me both on and off the pitch and I’m looking forward to that continuing.”
Cherries boss Eddie Howe said: “When we first brought Adam to the club, we believed he had huge potential.
"Adam has taken his opportunity, improved as a player and is an important member of our squad.
“We're delighted he will stay with us and, hopefully, continue his progression further.”
Chief executive Neill Blake added: “Adam is another one of our players who has played a key role in the club’s recent journey and we’re delighted he’s extended his stay.
“He’s an infectious character and a big part of what we’re trying to do and build at this football club.”
